Nancy Pelosi – New Version This Week?

Nancy PelosiAnyone have any idea how many versions of Nancy Pelosi we have seen recently? Seems there are new versions released faster than Microsoft releases security patches. There was Nancy 1.0 (“we were never told”) and Nancy 4.0 (“they lied to us.”) Nancy 2.5 was the one dedicated to her “real work,” that of electing a Democratic president and majority in Congress. It’s nice to see that version had the priorities straight.

Then there was Nancy 5.0, which seemed to have quite few bugs in the system – see video below.    Despite how “clear” she claimed her statement was, even Mrs. Pelosi herself seemed to be confused by it all. I am not sure if the debugging program was running during the sequence below, but it seems many of the issues exhibited themselves during this recent live test.

We were briefly introduced to the Nancy 6.0 (beta version) last Friday. This version comes with a semi-automatic ctrl-alt-del in the form of Representative Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) This new feature quickly escorts the Speaker out of the room if the questions become too uncomfortable. This version also includes a protective firewall in the form of Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.) and Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.) This firewall provides added protection from the media.

It is obvious that there are major upgrades needed here. Trying to apply patches (think Microsoft) will sometimes work for a while, but usually ends up causing more problems. Perhaps it is time to cut the losses and start over.
